View from the top

In our quest to lose weight we don't start from an angle of ATTEMPT but from the position of VICTORY. How we look at ourselves and our attempt to lose weight will dictate how things turn out for us. What is the mental picture that you have of yourself in your head? Do you see yourself as STRONG in the Lord and the power of His might. Do you see yourself as the HEAD and not the tail or as on TOP and never on the bottom. Do you see yourself YIELDED to the power and control of the Holy Spirit. Do you see yourself as more than a conqueror in Christ with your weight loss. Because the GOD's truth is that if you are not then you should be. We are able like the word tells us in Romans 4:17 to call those things that be not as though they were. You are not a compulsive overeater. You are not a food or carb addict. You are free because the Son has made you free. By His stripes you are healed from the compulsion to overeat. Our flesh, our feelings and our appetite can NOT lord over us any longer because it is written He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves. Today you need to know that in His kingdom there is freedom and liberation.
Today I ask you is your VIEW of your victory based on the number on your scale or the reduction in your waistline. Of course those things are coming but FIRST receive it by faith that you are healed, delivered and free and then that truth will manifest from your heart to your body. You will see your flesh shrivel up and die under your command in the Name of Jesus for it to do so.
Lastly I ask you what is your perception on losing weight? Are you looking outside of God and yourself for some EXPERT opinion of what it best for you or have asked and received from the Holy Spirit truth and wisdom about your own body in order to release weight. It is false and deceptive to think that losing weight is about giving up fattening and sugary food and having to exercise. It is only as HARD as you tell yourself it is. I am not focused on losing weight but I am FOCUSED on gaining life. You will have what you say. So if you look at losing weight as being hard, laborious and depriving then that is what the experience will be for you. Each day confess that with God it is possible for you to stay NO to excess and addictive foods. Daily add to that thought at least one natural benefit to losing weight and meditate on those two particular things all day long. See yourself as the VICTOR and CONQUEROR that Christ has called you to be in all areas of your life including being free of overeating and food addiction. Yours victoriously, Manie
