It really is worth the effort

I can gauge the kind of day I will experience in my eating based on the amount of word I get in and the amount of time I spend with in confessing the word specifically in regards to compulsive overeating.
I receive by faith that I am free from the sin of overeating with the price Jesus paid on the cross for me. I have received that by His stripes I have been FREE & HEALED in struggling with the addiction and sickness of overeating.
Still it takes daily effort for the freedom and healing to be manifested in my life by my faith work. When I have not made the effort to properly and amply feed my spirit then I will struggle to keep my flesh under control.
We can’t be lax in this effort because we know that the effort is worth the reward. We need to hold on to the hope that the day is SOON coming when our freedom from gluttony will be effortless but until that day comes we make the decision to make the effort. Be Blessed, Manie

VICTORY IS A DECISION

I want to encourage someone today to know that YOU are really able to do that which you have never done before. You can think, believe and speak yourself to supernatural warrior strength. Today you need to know that it means NOTHING that you may have failed a million times before. Today you can make the decision to believe in the power of God for your weight loss victory. It is the enemy that wants to keep you in bondage to you past WHILE GOD wants you propelled into your future.
It is written in Job 8:7 (CEV) Your future will be brighter by far than your past.
It is time today to think and believe yourself in to freedom. You already have the spiritual victory and your body is willing and able to manifest for you a natural victory. Be Blessed, Manie

Instant Gratification

It has been said that for us our natural inclination is to take the path of least resistance. In our world of super modern technology we have decided that it is not GOOD if it is not quick, instant or easy.
Yet the truth is that the easier things have become the less perseverance, endurance and patience we possess.
It is time for us to understand the best way is not always the easy way. The more we give into the demands of instant gratification the STRONGER the habit becomes. We have becomes addicts to easy, quick and instant way. We can't live without our microwaves, cell phones and dsl service.
Particularly when it comes to our losing weight the diet that looks that most appealing are the ones that promise the fastest, quickest and easiest results with the LEAST amount of work and effort. In our minds pain is a sign that is can't be done when it fact pain is our sign that it MUST be done. I think most of us will agree that this weight battle will be one of the hardest things we do in our lives. But the truth is HARD doesn't mean IMPOSSIBLE. God never promised us things would be easy but He did guaranteed us the victory. I made a decision that just because denying my flesh hurts that didn't mean denying my flesh shouldn't and couldn't be done. I use to errorneously think that I could eat NOT eat outside of hunger as long as it didn't hurt. Now I know pain or pain I can deny myself. Let us all make the decision to eat when our bodies say so and not the pain of not eating causes us to cave in.
These are the words of Jesus Christ at the end of Matthew 11:30 (MSG) I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly.

You can WIN at losing!!

Some of you might question your desire to overeat and wonder if its you or the enemy. For a long time I thought the desire of overeating was truly me and that I needed to get my own flesh in line. I understand as Paul says that the sinful nature is always there but as you walk by faith and appropriate your victory by confessing God's word you will see yourself become more and more victorious in overcoming your sinful nature and not overeating. Every time you fall the enemy wants you to think that you just don't have what it takes to NOT overeat. There have been so many different diet and exercise plans that didn't work for us and through it all the enemy labeled us as quitters and failure. So now the enemy will say to you WAL (winning-at-losing) plan doesn't work and to try another plan or something else. But child of God what you have to realize is that what I am sharing with you is NOT a plan or something else. It is believing God and confessing His word to bring about your victory in overeating. All you need to your faith and your voice. The same faith and voice you use to confess for your salvation and deliverance in other areas of your life. The same God that saved you from an eternity in hell is the same God that now wants to save from a life of overeating despair.
This is not a natural solution you are involved in but it is supernatural assistance. Maybe some other plan failed you in the past BUT faith in God can never and will never fail you.
A major deception the enemy uses with our eating is to make us believe it is us that wants to eat and NOT him tempting us to eat. It is harder to fight something that you think YOU want to do in the first place. Today you need to know that compulsion and urge to overeat is not you but the enemy. You can command it to leave you (as many as times as it comes) in the name of Jesus. Also strengthen yourself to know that there is no urge, habit or compulsion that is greater than the name of Jesus. Be Blessed Manie

The big "D" word

Do you know why the diet industry is so lucrative and profitable. It is NOT because some diets work and others don't. The truth is that MOST if not all diets work if we are consistent and committed to eating the way they dictate us too. The truth is that we are looking to find the diet plan that is easy and take basically no effort or our part. When we don't find that in Diet Plan A or Diet Plan B then we go looking for Diet Plan C. So in the meantime the diet industry makes money due to own lack of commitment. The truth in total is that our eating has LESS to do with what we are eating and more about what is eating us. We have made it a habit to stuff our faces to block out the real issues. Even we get to the point of being able to cope without the food it is too late because overeating has become a habit.
We are looking for a diet to DO for us the one thing we really need and that is too be DENIED. One of the complaints I hear from myself and even others who are dieting is trying to avoid or cope with hunger. The truth for most of us is that we have such an unhealthy with food that as well we have an unhealthy relationship with REAL hunger. It makes sense to be feel hungry when we first start eating RIGHT because normally WE eat too much and so to eat RIGHT means eating in moderation and what feels like hunger to our souls is not hunger to our bodies.
For most of our bodies HUNGER is a welcome thing. It is a relief to our organs to have some time off from constantly processing food .
On the spiritual side denial pushes away from the table and makes our flesh a little weaker and our spirits a lot stronger.
Today you need to know that You can deny yourself. You can have the power to say NO to your appetite and your flesh. To those who are overweight it is NOT a bad thing to go hungry. I have to tell myself I can be hungry and it will not hurt me but in fact help me.
My flesh has been FED too much this far in my life that is why it is so strong in trying to fight me against not overeating. Because in the past I gave in so much my willpower and self control have been basically ignored to the point that they have been starved to death.
Glory to God the bible God is not the God of the dead but of the living. He is able to resurrect and call to life those things that have long been dead in our lives.
In the name of Jesus we speak life to self-control and will power. We will continue to give life and feed these attributes with the word of God.
We will speak life to our will power that we can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens us. Manie

Something to do..

In the past I have looked at losing weight as something on my TO DO list and once I was finished I could scratch it off and move on to the next thing. The problem with that way of thinking was unfortunately a lot of times REAL LIFE got in the way. There are lots of modern day conveniences in our attempt to eat better like the menus at fast food restaurants have a healthier option. But I am can almost guarantee that if I am in the drive thru of the place with the golden arches the last thing I want is something healthy to eat.
The message I am teaching is that losing weight is NOT something to do but a way to live. I don't want to do something for 2 weeks that I can't maintain on some level for the next 20 years. This is MORE about eating and living healthier than it is about losing weight. When I nourish my body with a more moderate and healthier amount of food then it will let go of the reserves of fat. Today I realize that losing weight has less to do with what I am feeding my body and MORE of what I am feeding my spirit. Every day I meditate on the truth that my eating doesn't gage my victory the truth is I have the victory over my eating and so I eat right.
It is written in Romans 6:5-7 Since we have been united with him in his death, we will also be raised to life as he was. We know that our old sinful selves were crucified with Christ so that sin might lose its power in our lives. We are no longer slaves to sin. For when we died with Christ we were set free from the power of sin.

Doing what you have never done..

to receive what you never had.
We have all heard about that old adage before but never in my life have I lived it and known it to be so true as this TIME in my life. One of the most important things you will hear me teach about losing weight is NOT about an eating plan or an exercise regimen. It involves appropriating your victory in Christ Jesus through your faith in HIM and also the power of your word confessions.
Today I want to testify about a noticeable decrease in my appetite and I know it is because of what I believe and also what I am saying to myself and my body. One of my daily confessions is that In Jesus name my appetite doesn't LORD over me but it is conformed to the will and purposes of God in my life. According to Hebrews 4:14 I hold firmly my confession morning, noon and night.
Also I speak to my body to release weight swiftly, easily and safely in Jesus Name. This is all biblical because Jesus Himself talked to things as well. Jesus talked to a fig tree, a fever and even the wind.
I believe that I can HAVE what I say and I pray today that you get this revelation and believe and say the same for yourself.

Switch your focus

Today I want to say to you STOP and switch your focus on NOT failing but to always WINNING. The truth is that in whatever manner you focus on something that THING will expand and get bigger in your mind. Only think of winning and make it become so BIG in your mind and heart that you have ROOM for nothing else. Be Blessed, Manie

Lordship

In reading this word today I hope that you will receive them being full of faith and positioned to receive. Pray it to be so NOW in Jesus Name.
Romans 6:14 Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God's grace.
The good news today is that you don't have to accept and follow the feelings and thoughts to overeat or to eat foods that hurt instead of nourish your body. I can't tell you what those foods are for you but the word of God says that everything is permissible but not everything is beneficial.
There is freedom available for you if you receive the word of the LORD that old eating habits can't lord over you. In Christ you are a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come. It is TIME for you today to take YOUR stand over that which was and speak forth that which now is. I tell my flesh that it can't lord over me and that I am strong in the LORD to eat right and the power of His might to eat right. Even if you don't fully believe it speak it enough and it will be your reality. The truth today is your appetite is yielded to the balance and control of the Holy Ghost. If you continue in this truth you will be set free. Sin can't lord over you. Your flesh can't lord over you. satan can't lord over you. Be Blessed, Manie

It is written...

Matthew 4:4 (NLT) But Jesus told him, "No! The scripture say, 'People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.
In losing weight the LORD has spoke to my spirit that the focus is not about starving my flesh but about feeding my spirit. Because of all my numerous attempts and failures at losing weight my faith was MOSTLY in defeat and not in the victory that I could ever lose weight.
So every morning before I think about a food plan or exercise I feed my spirit to get me through the day. I meditate on the truth that I live by faith that I can lose weight and not sight that I haven't been able to lose weight. I feed my spirit faith food that with God it is possible for me to say NO to excess food and addictive food.
Before crunching on a apple or cooking oatmeal I chew on the word that I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me. I spend time feeding my inner man and crucifying my flesh.
I recommended taking at least 30 mins daily or MORE depending on your struggle to feed on God's word and fatten up your spirit and strengthen your faith. The truth is that YOU are well able to lose weight and eat right. The truth is that like Jesus did in Matthew 4:4 you combat the enemy's tactics with the written word of God. Be Blessed, Manie

View from the top

In our quest to lose weight we don't start from an angle of ATTEMPT but from the position of VICTORY. How we look at ourselves and our attempt to lose weight will dictate how things turn out for us. What is the mental picture that you have of yourself in your head? Do you see yourself as STRONG in the Lord and the power of His might. Do you see yourself as the HEAD and not the tail or as on TOP and never on the bottom. Do you see yourself YIELDED to the power and control of the Holy Spirit. Do you see yourself as more than a conqueror in Christ with your weight loss. Because the GOD's truth is that if you are not then you should be. We are able like the word tells us in Romans 4:17 to call those things that be not as though they were. You are not a compulsive overeater. You are not a food or carb addict. You are free because the Son has made you free. By His stripes you are healed from the compulsion to overeat. Our flesh, our feelings and our appetite can NOT lord over us any longer because it is written He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves. Today you need to know that in His kingdom there is freedom and liberation.
Today I ask you is your VIEW of your victory based on the number on your scale or the reduction in your waistline. Of course those things are coming but FIRST receive it by faith that you are healed, delivered and free and then that truth will manifest from your heart to your body. You will see your flesh shrivel up and die under your command in the Name of Jesus for it to do so.
Lastly I ask you what is your perception on losing weight? Are you looking outside of God and yourself for some EXPERT opinion of what it best for you or have asked and received from the Holy Spirit truth and wisdom about your own body in order to release weight. It is false and deceptive to think that losing weight is about giving up fattening and sugary food and having to exercise. It is only as HARD as you tell yourself it is. I am not focused on losing weight but I am FOCUSED on gaining life. You will have what you say. So if you look at losing weight as being hard, laborious and depriving then that is what the experience will be for you. Each day confess that with God it is possible for you to stay NO to excess and addictive foods. Daily add to that thought at least one natural benefit to losing weight and meditate on those two particular things all day long. See yourself as the VICTOR and CONQUEROR that Christ has called you to be in all areas of your life including being free of overeating and food addiction. Yours victoriously, Manie
